We moved in around the 2nd week of August and I literally hung our first pictures yesterday. There are still many boxes in the garage, and it's likely there will be an unopened box or 7 until our 10th anniversary. I hear this is normal?
Anyway, it's amazing how some familiar images can warm up a place. Especially a place painted stark white. The only downside I see is that while it's warmer, it also loses a little of its 'openness'. That's good and bad I suppose...
I'll take more pictures of what the place looks like now hopefully from the same angles as the 'before' pictures--that will require a little extra cleaning than normal. There's lots more to do, but one step at a time.
